including Schlumberger and PWC Logistics in diverse countries including the UAE,
Iraq, Kuwait, Yemen, Egypt, Congo, Angola, United States, U.K., and Norway. He has
an extensive background in new venture development, strategy, oil exploration, M&A,
and logistics in challenging environments. He has a degree in Petroleum Engineering
from the University of Texas and an MBA from Emory University.
Kubilay Yildirim General Manager (Turkey)
Kubilay has 13 years of experience in drilling, production, seismic acquisition,
and logistics for both onshore and offshore projects in Turkey. He has also been
involved in sales and divestitures of assets and has taken on significantly more
managerial positions until being promoted to General Manager. Kubilay has a degree
in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
Alastair GrayExploration Manager
Alastair has 35 years of international experience, initially as a geophysicist and
new venture specialist for British Gas and Unocal. In the 15 years prior to joining
Tiway, he had long-term consulting contracts with Saudi Aramco, BP, Statoil, and
Maersk in which he completed projects ranging from development geophysics to large-scale
regional studies. Alastair has a B.Sc. degree in Physics from Aberdeen University
and an M.Sc. degree in Geophysics from Durham University.
