Thorstein BergChairman
Thorstein is a serial entrepreneur, most recently as founder of Christania Kaffebryggeri,
a supplier of vending machines for office and industrial markets. He was also instrumental
in establishing PSI ASA and Wicom ASA, two publicly traded Norwegian companies involved
in data capture, logistics, and portable data/field solutions.
Rob Willings
Rob is a Director of Lime Rock Partners and is based in Dubai. He serves on the
board of a number of other oil service and E&P companies worldwide, including TWMA,
Tercel Oilfield Products, and DHS Oil. He began his career at Schlumberger as a
field engineer in the North Sea and as base manager in Argentina. He also worked
at PA Consulting and Simmons & Company.
Werner Karlsson
Werner is the Regional Director for INTSOK, the umbrella organization for Norwegian
oil companies expanding internationally, for the United States, Middle East, and
North Africa. Previously he held various positions in Saga, including Managing Director
of Saga Petroleum UK Ltd, Chief Geologist, Vice President Field Development planning,
and Chairman of the Board of Saga Petroleum Properties.
Saad Bargach
Saad is a Managing Director of Lime Rock Partners and is based in Dubai. Prior to
joining the firm, he worked for more than 23 years at Schlumberger, including as
the company’s Chief Information Officer, President of Well Completions & Productivity,
and President, Oilfield Services for Africa and Near East. Saad also serves on the
board of a number of private and listed oil service and E&P companies worldwide,
including Archer, OilSERV, Tercel Oilfield Products, and ITS.
Leif Dons
Now an independent business consultant, Leif was among the initiators of Ener Petroleum,
which was sold to Dana Petroleum in 2007. He was Senior Vice President, Business
Development of Fred. Olsen Energy ASA and the manager of international operations
and commercialization of new technology for Kvaener ASA.
Wilhelm Myrer
Wilhelm is an attorney and a private investor in a number of listed and unlisted
companies in Norway, Sweden, and the U.S. with a focus on real estate development
and new ventures. He has established several resource companies in Africa.
