The leadership of the company has experience from world-leading service companies like Schlumberger and Baker and oil companies like Unocal, Saga Petroleum and Repsol.

• The company has strong local knowledge and political connections in the FSU (Former Soviet Union), Middle East, Africa and South East Asia. Several countries in these regions are currently under review by Tiway, both in an exploration and production stage.

• Many of the target areas are in regions with emerging economies where access to natural resources has been restricted in the past. The management team has significant experience - both politically and technically - running businesses successfully in these and similar environments.
